'My Council' is a customer service centre encompassing a drop-in service, telephone contact centre, support offices, staff facilities, internet cafe, public information resource and exhibition areas. The centre amalgamates many of the Council's existing services, improving communication with customers.ADP's interior design team carried out extensive internal consultation - involving representatives from every function within the council to be incorporated within the scheme - ensured that the new facility fulfilled the expectations of both staff and users. The vivid, spacious design, promotes openness and transparency with a retail style interface between the council and the public - a significant shift in approach - and one designed to reflect the community values and accessibility inherent in the new 'My Council' brand.
