Located in the middle of nowhere and the center of everything, LMNO is a forward-thinking, data-driven, results-based creative agency based in beautiful Saskatoon.
We set out to create a space that reflected the LMNO ethos; with spaces that are inspirational, welcoming, and enhance productivity while balancing budget and expectations. Working with a super-creative client equally adept at problem-solving was a unique and fun collaborative process. We listened carefully to understand their space needs, and then together we developed a strategy for their new space.
Building upon LMNO as a family unit, the office space was developed as a home, spaces are identified as a kitchen, family room, café, study, workspace, rec room. Rather than calling them offices, enclosed workspaces are simply called rooms – and there are few of them.
One of the key spaces was the reception area aptly dubbed the café. The intent was to create an energetic space for guests to be welcomed into, establishing guests' first impression of LMNO and setting the stage for the experience of working with them. The receptionist, called a Guest Experience Manager at LMNO, sits at a reception desk that doubles as a coffee bar. Tables and informal seating are available and arranged for individual or collaborative informal workspace. Staff use of this space creates a dynamic energy that can be sensed as soon as you get off the elevator.
