The Lanserhof in Lans, Austria, has been extended by a new oval
building to the south of the main wing. The new building offers 16
rooms and suites as well as a wellness area with saunas, a saltwater pool and extended medical treatment rooms. The existing building has also been renovated, including the reception area, restaurant and lounge.
The new building‘s red cedar façade, combined with balconies and vertical blinds, creates a dynamic yet private building envelope that allows for wind, sun and views. A green roof blends the building harmoniously into the alpine landscape.
The architecture relies on sustainable, health-promoting materials
that fulfil strict ecological and health criteria. The calm and timeless design supports the holistic recreational concept of the resort and promotes the well-being of the guests.
