Set along the shores of Lake Washington, this waterfront home draws from Japanese and Scandinavian design traditions to create an architecture that is quiet, warm, and deeply connected to its setting. Carefully framed views, natural materials, and restrained detailing establish a sense of calm while strengthening the relationship between the interior spaces, surrounding landscape, and water.
The quality of light was central to the design.
