Indiesalon led the design of LADOR’s first flagship store, reinterpreting the Korean haircare brand’s philosophy as a sequence of architectural gestures. The client envisioned a place where visitors could rest, recharge, and experience the brand’s essence in a space that would feel like LADOR’s home. Our proposal organized the store around three key elements: the Comfortable LADOR House, the Sky-Blue Bath Cube, and the Oasis Table that anchors the circulation.
The Bath Cube is inserted as a spatial core, infusing the entire interior with LADOR’s identity. At the point where the house’s curved envelope meets this volume, the Oasis Table is placed centrally, establishing a flow and extending the flagship’s territoriality into a lifestyle space.
To resolve the recessed and visually hidden entrance, we connected the interior and exterior through a consistent level in the concrete floor, drawing the gaze of the passersbyers into the store.
The Bath Cube mediates this boundary, with an outdoor shower room functioning as a threshold—an almost ritualistic moment of “entering the house after a wash,” heightening anticipation for the brand experience.
Inside, the spatial flow is organized around the Oasis Table, *a signature Indiesalon design*. Every face of the table incorporates storage, while its soft curves reflect the fluidity of LADOR’s haircare products. This form guides movement, creating a series of unfolding scenes as visitors circulate through the store.
As the circulation traces the gentle curve of the oasis table, the *perfumer’s room* unfolds at the far end of the interior. Symmetrical booths flank the wall, constructed with black window frames and slender metal elements. Their classic, glossy black finish evokes the salon-like ambience of a European mansion, offering clients a sense of quiet luxury. Together with the central counter, the two booths form a wing-shaped, three-dimensional composition that anchors the space
Finally, beyond the partition is the Bath Cube, a space where visitors can encounter LADOR’s products with all five senses. A bathtub filled with scent and foam becomes the main point of focus, paired with a custom sky-blue sink, a simple towel rack, and a bath facing the small yard. The outdoor shower extends this experience to the exterior, softening the line between inside and out and tying the space back to LADOR’s everyday lifestyle.
