The Hyundai Motor India Limited Headquarters in Sector 29, Gurugram, stands as a contemporary corporate landmark that embodies the brand’s ethos of innovation, precision, and reliability while creating a workplace environment centered on wellbeing and collaboration. Located within one of the city’s most vibrant mixed-use districts, the project establishes a porous ground plane with a welcoming forecourt, landscaped setbacks, and shaded outdoor zones that connect seamlessly with the public realm. A dramatic four-storey atrium forms the heart of the headquarters, while a rooftop solar array, EV charging stations, and energy-efficient systems underscore Hyundai’s commitment to green mobility.
Architecturally, the building is articulated through crisp rectilinear volumes organized around a central atrium, with terraces that soften the massing while offering dynamic spaces for interaction. A high-performance façade system of low-e double glazing, aluminum fins, and a subtle frit pattern – derived from Hyundai’s design language – balances solar control with a distinctive identity. Internally, the office embraces activity-based working with open-plan neighborhoods, focus zones, and flexible meeting areas supported by wellness facilities, dedicated training rooms, and a multi-purpose town hall. Employee experience is further elevated through amenities such as collaborative lounges, a large canteen, dedicated wellness rooms, and an in-house dispensary, alongside health & safety features like thermal scanning systems, HEPA-filtered HVAC systems, UV light lockers, and compliance with zone-5 earthquake safety standards.
Structurally, the building employs a hybrid steel and RCC system that allows larger column-free spans, long-term flexibility in workplace layouts and accelerated construction.
