HONOR Global Flagship
At Shenzhen Bay, where mountains meet the sea, the sky and water merge into a fluid, ever-changing landscape. Along the shoreline, the HONOR Global Flagship Store comes into view, revealing a striking yet graceful presence that draws passersby.
A sweeping 43-meter curved glass facade, one of the longest of its kind, unfolds like a gentle wave, softening the boundary between inside and out. Its subtle rippling texture captures the rhythm of water—fluid, inclusive, and effortless—articulating a vision where technology and nature coexist in harmony.
“Traditional tech spaces often feel cold and lifeless. Our goal was to break that stereotype by weaving nature into the design,” said the HONOR Retail Design Studio. The location itself—Shenzhen Bay—became a source of inspiration. “Where Mountains and Sea Converge: A Bay of Technology” emerged as the project’s central concept.

Shining from the sea
Wave · Lightness · Shimmer
More than a visual statement, the facade echoes the “water” imagery of Shenzhen Bay, expressing HONOR’s vision of human-centered technology.
“We imagined the facade as ripples bathed in golden morning light—gently shimmering, stirred by a soft breeze,” explained Various Associates. “Not a crashing wave, nor anything overpowering. Instead, we hoped its presence would feel like a small moment of everyday joy—warm, uplifting, and quietly radiant.”
At the heart of the ground floor is a 45-square-meter immersive digital screen. Flowing water imagery intertwines with the Alpha logo, articulating brand identity while visually extending the space. Its dynamic, nature-inspired motion brings a sense of vitality to the interior, becoming an integral part of the spatial narrative.

Multi-dimensional Experiences
Here, HONOR’s diverse product portfolio unfolds through clear, category-based displays. A broad spectrum of smart devices integrated into everyday life is thoughtfully curated, revealing a holistic vision of tech-powered living.
With such diverse displays, vertical circulation becomes essential in guiding the spatial journey. Here, water takes on a more dynamic form—evoking speed, fluidity, and a grounded sense of strength.
A sculptural spiral staircase wraps around a cascading water installation, transforming the vertical journey into an encounter with water’s momentum and resilience. At its base, a miniature landscape offers an artistic reinterpretation of Shenzhen Bay’s mangrove ecosystem.
On the second floor, a more immersive and multidimensional experience unfolds. A robotic coffee bar, set against a backdrop of flowing water imagery, introduces a dynamic interplay between technology and nature. The YOYO AI Agent zone brings artificial intelligence to life through intuitive, lifelike interactions. Everyday scenarios of home, work, entertainment, and creation are interwoven across the space, composing a continuous narrative of daily life. At the far end, the space shifts into a more intimate setting—a home-like lounge with expansive views. Soft lighting, warm wood textures, and an enveloping layout evoke the intimacy and comfort of a living room, offering a place to pause, gather, and connect.

Powerful & Inclusive
This project rethinks how technology is perceived in a retail environment. Rather than conveying power through sharp geometries or cool, metallic materiality, technology is reimagined as gentle, inclusive, and human-centered—embracing a diversity of users and experiences.
Rooted in the natural context of Shenzhen Bay, the project translates the many states of water into spatial narratives. The result is a flagship that embodies HONOR’s unique vision of technology—warm, human-centered, and closely attuned to everyday life.
