Nestled in the serene surroundings of Woodruff, Wisconsin, the newly erected Holy Family Parish church spans an impressive 48,000 square feet, blending seamlessly with its natural environment to offer a warm and inviting worship experience amidst the enchanting Northwoods landscape. Crafted from field stone, cedar siding, and expansive clear glass panels, the environmentally conscious design of this southern-facing sanctuary wraps around a cluster of tall pine trees, symbolizing the spiritual heart of the site as the revered Place of the Easter Fire. Throughout the seasons, the church graciously accommodates worshippers, comfortably seating 900 during the autumn, winter, and spring months. However, during the bustling summer vacation period, its adaptable design facilitates an increased capacity, accommodating up to 1,400 attendees by opening movable walls to the 150-seat Day Chapel and 350-seat Parish Hall.
Connecting parishioners to various amenities such as a library, conference rooms, and parish offices, the Gathering Space and Colonnade offer stunning views of the beautifully conserved thirty-acre site. A ceremonial stairway guides worshippers to the lower level, where a religious education facility awaits, boasting classrooms, offices, and a vibrant youth room bathed in natural light and overlooking the serene northern landscape. Outside, meandering prayer paths and nature trails wind through the verdant surroundings, weaving among trees, courtyards, and an outdoor worship area. Here, on warm summer mornings, upwards of 1,000 individuals can gather, fully immersing themselves in the tranquility of their "Northwoods" sanctuary.
