The interior design and interior architecture program of this five-star, 390-key luxury hotel and retail center addressed its presence as a sophisticated shopping and hospitality destination. A dramatic two-story sculptural lobby lounge allows guests to absorb the architectural majesty of the building's dramatic eight-story atrium. The design also includes four restaurants, a 600-person ballroom, a 500-person banquet hall, two spas, and an outdoor pool and entertainment terrace. Guest rooms will provide a bespoke residential environment. A separate club floor with exclusive reception area, dining, business and leisure amenities offers an elevated level of luxury.
The interior aesthetic will integrate with the neo-Renaissance design created by Germany's Kling Consult, the building's architect, while maintaining both a sensibility of curated modernism and references to Saudi Arabia's design history. Traditional Saudi patterns and materials, rich in detail, will be paired with inspiring modern forms to create a destination that is both authentic and dynamic.
