Folded Core House is a detached residence designed for three generations. Nestled at the foot of a mountain on the suburban fringe, the site adjoins a road to the south and a lake to the north. The building is folded and stacked following the parallel logic of interior and exterior spaces. Courtyards are enclosed between independent volumes, and a long corridor links all architectural spaces. The building mass steps down layer by layer from the mountain toward the lake, forming an aggregated and introverted living compound.
