Transforming a dark office space into a physiotherapy clinic with its own identity was thechallenge taken on by studio Design Blob for the new EstudioFisio Goya center. In this thirdcollaboration between the clinic and the interior designers, the project takes as its startingpoint the property's greatest asset: seven balconies facing the street that provideexceptional natural light. This brightness acts as the guiding thread of the intervention,dictating the layout.
The goal was to move the clinical space away from the coldness ofhealthcare environments and create a warm, welcoming wellness space. The choice ofmaterials reinforces this pursuit of calm.
The interior design establishes a subtle dialoguebetween the building's original character and contemporary elements. This is achieved through the incorporation of furniture with clean lines and contemporary moulding details onthe walls, along with textile curtains, which filter the light and adjust privacy in the treatmentrooms.
The result is a bright, serene clinic in which architecture and interior design work inservice of the user experience. A space conceived to support the therapeutic processthrough calm, comfort and trust, making patients and professionals feel at ease from the veryfirst moment.
