Alejandra Fontelos and Israel Egio from ITTA Estudio transformed a dim 1,500 square feet apartment in Madrid into a home full of light and life.
The young spanish designers created a large, open space integrating living room and dinning area. This can now be accessed through a single sliding door with glass panels, that allows light to pass to the large corridor. The corridor, also with white walls and new lightning is the main access to all the other rooms of the house.
The design integrates the elements the client wanted to keep, like artworks, paintings, classical decoration pieces. A mixture between modern and classical can be seen all over the house, especially in the living room and office.
The main bedroom also got a new, cozy look, with minimal furniture and neutral colors.
The bedroom of the teenage daughter was given joy with the floral upholstery of the bow window.
