The development of a hospitality business can also be accompanied by expansion of the target market intended to be reached. The hotel renovation planning process for this project was carried out through intensive direct observation at the location where guest activities and management operations take place in the existing hotel. From these observations, various patterns emerged related to activities and preferences that are expected to be maintained for the old, more traditional market, while also implementing more modern elements for the new target market. Of course, the level of implementation must still embrace the traditional aspects that have become core value of the owner and be adjusted to a level of adaptation that can still be accepted by the old target market.
