Downtown Stadium is a proposed soccer venue designed by Gensler to replace a former downtown mall, introducing a large-scale sports program into a dense urban context.
The concept integrates a retained dome element from the existing structure and a lightweight linen-based roof system that wraps the bowl and signals activity through illumination.
