The residential complex borders the one-and-a-half-century-old Syretsky botanical garden devoted to trees. Its area is almost 6.5 hectares. For residents of nearby houses, the park is the only recreational area. Kyivans lack it in their neighboring territories. The location of the place inspired the architects to create a new quarter with its park.
The “open quarter” concept is accessible paths to the central green area of 3.2 hectares between houses. Thanks to our solution, the complex residents can afford a vacation in nature, just by going out into the yard.
Conditional boundaries of the quarter are separate “houses-books”. They are designed to avoid the unwanted view of “window to window”.
