Located in the heart of Paris, CUT Bistro swiftly captured the gaze of pedestrians with its bold and unconventional aesthetic, a departure from the traditional French ambiance. Between the Walls commenced development on this project in late June 2023, and within a span of just 4.5 months, the café welcomed its inaugural patrons.
The concept of CUT Bistro revolves around the essence of street food, a theme seamlessly echoed throughout its interior design. Between the Walls employed rugged textures like raw concrete and metal to underscore this urban atmosphere. Embracing a monochromatic palette dominated by various shades of gray and black, the entire design exudes an industrial charm. Lighting played a pivotal role, with vivid red accents illuminating the ceilings and walls, juxtaposing against the dark backdrop and evoking a distinctive ambiance uncommon in Parisian settings.
Each dish served at the establishment, along with the food itself, features an accent color that boldly contrasts with the rough interior elements, particularly against the sleek black tabletops.
Throughout the project, the interior studio prioritized collaboration with Ukrainian manufacturers and contractors. The CUT bistro's tables and chairs were skillfully crafted by the renowned Ukrainian brand, Turetskyi, while the aluminum stools were meticulously handmade in Kyiv, Ukraine's capital. Vitalistyl, a reputable Ukrainian construction company with a longstanding presence in Paris, undertook the construction work.
This deliberate choice stemmed from our dedication to quality and the aspiration to showcase our team's proficiency across Europe, underscoring our commitment to upholding high standards and professionalism.
Studio Between the Walls is making significant strides in its expansion efforts, marking its initial foray into international markets.
