The historical “Bauernschusterhaus” is supplemented by a clearly structured addition in the south
which subordinates itself to the original building. The new main entrance is intuitinal recognizable
through the geometrical clarity of the new building. The transparent facade lets the interior interact
with the newly formed townhall square as rural center of Reischach.
The design of the facade of the additional building takes up quotations from the existing historical
facade structure - such as the horizontal boss structure and the different types of plaster - and
changes them in a contemporary way.
A generous entrancehall greets the visitor and is used multifunctional for receptions and exhibitions.
The visitor can approach all of the different usages like conference hall, wedding room and
administration directly from the foyer.
In order to generate a pleasant work environment restrained and clear materials with a light and warm
basic tint are used in the interior.
