This project is based on the reuse of an existing building from the 70s, located within the Bellavista Golf Club, which had unused spaces and the potential to add a new program that would adapt to the current needs and ideals of the complex.
The project is developed over three levels; on the ground floor there is a board room, administrative offices, which are equipped with views and natural lighting through an outdoor garden, and a commercial space on the ground floor that is articulated through a small square and a landscaped slope; the second level is made up of a multipurpose room, and a cantilevered terrace through which this level is accessed, connecting directly with the street by means of a ramp; the last level houses the gym. In order to provide programmatic flexibility, the gym can be adapted from three rooms to a large single room through movable dividing walls. The façade can also be opened in its totality in order to combine the interior to the exterior space.
The existing structure was reinforced with a mixed system of steel and concrete and adding four reinforced concrete walls that continue to the foundations, the building was given a new level through a lightweight roof structure made of steel trusses generating a completely open and flexible space. The new building is integrated into the set of existing buildings, dialoguing with the succession of suspended roofs and giving continuity to the existing stone façade, replicating it on the main façade with the same material and mass.
