The focus of the project was to transform a compartmentalized apartment from the '80s into an integrated space, updated to today's “way of life”. The masonry, which appears in orange in the scheme, was demolished.
The social area comes to be understood as a unique and multifunctional space, where meals are made at the kitchen counter, along with other activities.
The materials are in the same color palette to enhance spatial integration and provide a sober “base” so the owner can make all his objects available as he pleases, without limitation. Therefore, the project adapts to the resident's changes.
