STATUS
Built
YEAR
2016
SIZE
10,000 sqft - 25,000 sqft
This mixed use residential/commercial development is designed to respect the historic character of Bryn Mawr, one of Philadelphia’s most famous and historic mainline communities. The use of brick provides the scale and texture that is most appropriate along this busy commercial street and the façade is designed to differentiate between the glassy ground floor commercial use and the more reserved fenestration of the residential upper floors. Traditional detailing such as brick jack arches, keystones, patterned brick coursing and decorative iron work give the building a richness and scale that is sympathetic to its older neighbors. Above the 4,000 SF commercial floor are two floors of luxury apartments. High ceilings, large windows, open kitchens and French doors to balconies make these units most desirable.
