Ticket box
When you climb the central staircase in front of Sejong Cultural Center, you will see the outside space, Sejongtulak, that you can go to the 2nd floor Grand Theater, M Theater, and Chamber Hall. It is the only way that citizens can go to the art garden through the outside space. However, the spacious space of Sejongtulak remained empty and there are no people to come and go when there was no concert. The reason is that citizens have to come up the stairs and it is dark and obsolete so people are not aware, and there is no program to attract people. The ticket box located at Sejongtulak is planned to serve as a ticket booth and as a place for citizens to rest so that they can rest quietly in the middle of the city center. In addition, the dark space caused by aging was illuminated simultaneously with the concept of lighting box to enhance the perception. It should not be end of this plan to redesign ticket box, but as mentioned in the guide to redesign, it should be designed sequentially in places where there are frequent access of the citizens so that they can access it easily.
