This apartment building is located in Santhome, at the site of the historic Oceanic Hotel, a nostalgic old favorite haunt for Chennai citizens.
It was very natural to conceive of a lifestyle concept to bring together the sea, sand and sky in a modern architecture with strong references to these elements. The L shaped site dictated the coming together of two blocks that shift and adjust to the views. A large opening accepts the introduction of a shell shaped Yoga pavilion that pays homage to the sea and its mysteries beyond.
