The first aquaspinning studio in New York City. The character of the space was found though a careful archeology of the TriBeCa storefront and basement in which the pool is housed. One enters at street level and is introduced to the tall and bright subterranean pool after passing through a raw brick-lined stairwell and a black-finished changing room. Millwork throughout was made from very large floor joists removed during the creation of the pool room. The stair acts as a stitching element pushing and pulling into each space as it descends.
