488 Almaden Boulevard is 350,000 SF Class-A office building designed to respond to the unique characteristics of the site: a grand boulevard on Almaden, the canted geometry of the street intersection, and the existing Convention Center to the north of the Project. The building is conceived as a composition of interlocking volumes that are expressed with a variety of exterior curtain wall systems. An expansive curved glass wall rises out of a polished granite and glass enclosure, presenting a dramatic facade on Almaden Boulevard. The two-story base is expressed at the edges of the site, creating a transition in scale as the building meets the ground.
