Immediately at Erfurt ICE Station a station for bicycles has arisen. This second northern plant - as a counterpart to the south bicycle parking station - meets the requirement to the demand for secure, weather-protected parking space, while the chaos area sprawling bike hordes stopped. The direct near to the station is important for functionality and user acceptance because of the bonus of the use of bicycles as individual mobility and accessibility of the destination. For this purpose, an urban leftover plot - the end of an urban green space - located, which had no meaning for use, but between walking, stairs and railings of the bridge (escape route) remained as a triangle. These left over spaces are inconspicuously, not so annoying and often a little pimped with flower ... but totally underrated surface potentials for functional needs of a city such as. Bicycle parking garages. This plot was already opened up on all sides, and can effectively accommodate 200 parking facilities for bicycles in height moderate displacement, mostly stacked in double parkers for rapid all-round service. A central area also offers an extra secure storage room which will provide charging stations for e-bikes. The transmitted simply clad in expanded metal and steel construction and the expressive form of the actual "bike shed" picks out the subject of the dynamics and movement and enlarge a city furniture in Erfurt.
