full service architectural practice. Founded
in 2006 XP& Architecture is
dedicated to cultural ecologies, creating environments that enhance the
cultural landscape with advanced technology in design and construction.
The firm is committed to the arts,
ecology, functional pragmatics (“we are making
things work”) and financial considerations.
Our design span from product designs to small & large commercial projects
to landscape design. We
believe that innovations are discovered through the process of design and
construction can be applied to projects of any scale, use, or purpose.
XP& Architecture is based in California,
USA with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles. XP&
Architecture delivers architectural design solutions that are based on 15
years of experience in the practice with great management and follow
through. XP& Architecture has cultivated a team
that strives to deliver the highest level of project management, service, and
design. Our approach is client and site specific, and questions conventional
assumptions. A collaborative process with clients, consultants, fabricators,
and builders allows an open and impassioned exploration and enables a clear
understanding of appropriate solutions. In each project, we seek to uncover an
inherent spirit of place and interpret constraints as catalysts for
performative design. The individual character of each project emerges through
poetic spatial relationships, material richness, and exacting detail.
At
the core of the practice is its unique innovative design that derives out
inspirations of patterns in nature.
Patterns in nature are used as a base for the designs and through site
specific - and program constrains developed for the specific project. Architecture
is understood as a developmental ecology. Our designs are anchored in the conventions
of architecture and grow into new development and innovation from there.
