Robert Gutowski Architects is a Budapest-based architectural practice founded in 2004. The practice has developed a reputation for working on a wide range of cultural, heritage and residential projects. Completed projects include the Sports hall and Concert Hall in Pannonhalma, Unesco World Heritage site, the Korda Pilgrim House in Mariazell, Austria, the Saint John Paul II Church, or the Museum Collection Storage in Hungary.

The reputation of the office is established by both a commitment to the collaborative aspect of creating architecture and a strong focus on refining design ideas to arrive at a solution which is architecturally, socially, and intellectually coherent. Pannonhalma Concert Hall won the “Architizer A+Awards Special Mention” in 2017, the Saint John Paul II Church was among the Finalists in Cultural and Religious category in 2020. The Lookout Tower was Jury winner in “Architizer Architecture + Joy” category. The Church of St John Paul II received the "Dezeen Awards 2020, Highly Commended" in London. The practice has also gained recognition in international design competitions of cultural buildings in Helsinki, Vilnius, Milan, and Yekaterinburg. The studio was shortlisted in the competition for the design of the Shenzhen Opera House.

Robert Gutowski received Pro Architectura Medal (2019) and the prestigious Miklós Ybl Prize (2022), as a lifetime achievement award for outstanding architectural work and teaching over a period of at least fifteen years. He also has been awarded by the Czech President with the “Jože Plečnik Central European Architecture Prize” in 2022 for his ethical approach to architecture and the cause of the preservation of historic buildings and monuments.
