Hoehler+alSalmy (H+S) previously known as Hoehler + Partner Oman (H+P), is an Omani-German joint venture between Ernst Hoehler and Muhammad Sultan Al Salmy. The company was founded in 2009 when the partners recognized the potential of the Middle Eastern architectural market and wanted to take the challenge and introduce H+P in Muscat, Oman. In early 2016, the company was then rebranded from Hoehler + Partner to Hoehler+alSalmy, incorporating the name of the Managing Director and Lead Architect, Muhammad Sultan Al Salmy in recognition of his leadership of the company from its inception.
The joint venture combines German architectural and technical standards with traditional Middle-Eastern elements to deliver unique and innovative designs. Each project is distinct in nature where H+S innovative approach to the projects include environmental and cultural awareness in addition to energy conservation and sustainability. The development and promotion of alternative energy supplies and services is a focus for H+S, along with a commitment to bringing in prestigious projects to the region, and introduce German standards, whilst keeping the traditional elements in the designs and construction where ever possible.
