Founded in Shanghai in 2018, Atelier Zeros is a multi-disciplinary design studio working at the intersection of urban renewal, industrial upgrading and cultural studies.
Our design works include critical practices such as site planning, architectural design, interior design, and exhibition design, with current projects locating in regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Fujian. Atelier Zeros has been widely recognized for its design projects. The studio’s works have been shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018, and we were invited to present at the symposium hosted by Chinese Consulate General in the United States in 2019. In the same year, Atelier Zeros was selected as one of the Top 40 Emerging Architect in the Greater China region by FA.
The core team members have rich working experience in well-known domestic and foreign architectural firms, including Zaha Hadid Architects (London), Atelier FCJZ(Beijing) , and Atelier Liu Yuyang Architects (Shanghai).
As a pioneering design studio, Atelier Zeros utilizes cutting-edge computer algorithms and developed the study of material representation, continuing with research and teaching on the geometric forms, structural relationships, and material textures of substances. We explore the boundaries of spatial design and create spatial atmospheres that seamlessly align with events and usage. We aim to inspire activities relevant to the space, expressing individual lifestyles through spatial scenes and providing extraordinary experiences for people.
