Ashari Architects and Associates began its professional activities in the field of research, design, and architectural education in 2005. The group approaches architectural practice with an experiential perspective in various domains. AshariArchitects designed and executed various projects in architecture, interior architecture, and landscape architecture, encompassing diverse functions such as residential, commercial, administrative, educational, cultural, industrial, and tourist projects, both on small and large scales. Product design and art installations are among the group's secondary activities.
With the aim of creating projects that resonate with their time and context, the group strives to commit itself to maintaining the cycle of social, economic, and environmental sustainability, as well as improving the quality of life for users. One of the team's perennial goal is increasing the artistic contribution in project designs, aiming to create new experiences for users by harnessing the potential of each project and introducing innovative design capabilities. Feedback from users indicates experiences of excitement, imagination, and memorable moments in the spaces created. Another goal of the group is to enhance the cultural and social dimension of the environment. To this end, efforts have always been made to create more opportunities for interaction among different segments of society and to gain new experiences, especially in cultural sectors such as cinema, theater, music, cafes, libraries, etc.
Curiosity, a spirit of collective participation, and the determination of the team members are among the characteristics accompanying the group in project design until achieving the desired outcome. While emphasizing creativity and innovation, the team always seeks to find the best possible solution for each problem through relevant research and brainstorming. Over two decades of professional activity, the team has been responsible for the design of nearly 200 projects, many of which have won prestigious awards in both domestic and international competitions. In 2019, the group was honored with the Medal of Excellence by the Iranian Contemporary Architects Office. In 2023, according to the evaluation of the international website Architizer, Ashari Architecture Group and Associates was listed among the top 10 architectural firms in Iran.
