This project consists of the renovation of an 1890 manor house.
Program: eight tourist apartments, and a recreation zone with a swimming pool and landscape design.
The house has a total area of 12,915 square feet.
The site of this project is really representative of the typical landscape of the area of Igualada, Province of Barcelona. The spectacular situation invites contemplation and relaxation, and the relationship between landscape and architecture was very relevant for the design. The existing manor house (built in 1890) was rehabilitated with respect, preserving its original characteristics. The project includes the landscape design around the main building. Energy saving values and spatial simplicity were priority aspects of the project.
