Immediately at Erfurt ICE Station a station for bicycles has arisen. This second northern plant – as a counterpart to the south bicycle parking station – meets the requirement to the demand for secure, weather-protected parking space, while the chaos area sprawling bike hordes stopped. The direct near to the station is important for functionality and user acceptance because of the bonus of the use of bicycles as individual mobility and accessibility of the destination.
