I'm an architectural designer in New York City. I just finished the Columbia GSAPP MArch program - graduated May 2010. Architecture is a way for me to study, represent, and hopefully influence the world through GIS, microcontrollers and (limited) programming, physical prototyping through digital and analogue techniques. I'm married to design, but keep economics and computer science as much-loved mistresses. Before moving to New York for school in Fall 2007, I got my undergrad in Architecture from Berkeley and was working in San Francisco. I grew up in the Bay Area, but love New York and I'm staying here for a while - bicoastal is the best life, except the 6 hour flights. In 2010 I was able to travel with Columbia GSAPP to Brazil and Japan - both amazing in totally different ways - and I hope to keep exploring the world.
