A practicing architect since 1987, I am proud of my training and experience. Starting at HOK, where I worked on large commercial projects across the country,I was one of the first people in the firm to develop a proficiency in their proprietary CAD system. I moved to Andrew Tesoro, Architect and then Daniel Goldner, Architects, two small firms in New York, where I gained experience in small commercial and residential projects. As the senior associate at Goldner, I led several of the office's successful large commercial projects including retail stores, office building facade renovations and corporate interiors.
In 1992 I was one of the founding partners of The Building Studio, LLP, Architects. Our experience as a small firm in New York City has been remarkably varied. Project types that I have led range from complex radiology and medical suites to new schools and houses of worship. I am also proud to have designed and managed construction for New York City's first LEED-certified house, and have done many house renovations and additions in the Fieldston neighborhood in Riverdale.
