In 2009 an invited competition to design a new corporate headquarters for the YTN news media corporation was held. CO|RE collaborative partnered with the local Seoul office of hAND Architects (Jun Sung Kim) in submitting a proposal. The project is one of numerous initiative projects within a new district known as the DMC (digital media city). Our proposal considered both natural and digital systems in organizing form and space. Traditional high-rise service core arrangement is displaced making place for an 'open' public experience through the center of the structure.
