Weicheng Middle School is located on the site of the Shaanxi No.8 Cotton Mill with a long history.
Modern campus architecture is no longer only a learning place providing shelter from wind and rain, but also a carrier full of positive energy, shaping personality and spreading culture. The core of the design concept is to explore and express regional characteristics, inherit the context, so that teachers and students can enjoy a pleasant campus life in the architectural environment of contemporary and historical integration.
Construction axis: In terms of planning, it has created an east-west campus axis, which establishes a spatial relationship between the behavior of teachers and students and historical buildings, industrial relics, central square, clock tower, new buildings, etc., forming a classic spatial sequence.
Emerging from history: By preserving historical buildings, transforming and utilizing industrial relics, extending teaching functions and teaching forms, and optimizing the spatial structure of the campus.
Green and low-carbon: The A4 teaching building adopts passive design, becoming the first three-star green building and low-energy building in Shaanxi Province. It is a situational educational place to show energy-saving technology to students through the building itself.
Shared design: give full play to the social attributes of primary and secondary schools from the perspective of the city. The school's gymnasium, underground parking lot (under the track field) and large lecture hall are all designed for the sharing social resources.
