The “Wolfshof” building complex consists of two new buildings, a renovated wing and an existing building that was refurbished after being hollowed out.
The center is a large inner courtyard that invites people to linger and relax, but also to “garden”: Seating islands alternate with raised beds for the community and neighborhood gardens, a fountain cools and invites people to play.
The concept of greenery extends from the trellises on the façades to the balcony areas. The diverse mix of apartments (including studio apartments, maisonettes and lofts) goes hand in hand with a wide variety of private open spaces. The apartments' own roof terraces round off the generous open spaces on offer. The color and materiality of the clay tile façade of the new buildings sets a welcome accent in the grey of the urban context.
