In early 2012 plans were announced to create a Wild Atlantic Way along the west coast of the island of Ireland. This route will connect scenic roadways from Northern Ireland all the way down to West Cork.
We strongly believe that this concept of a route way along the coast has huge potential but we believe its potential could be maximised through the implementation of a series of well designed interventions.
We have identified five strategic points along the route that would be ideally suited for a first series of interventions to signify key points along the journey. Utilising a modular construction system from which a family of aesthetically similar structures with different uses can be fabricated.
