Located steps from Toronto’s High Park, Westbend Residences is a 13-storey mixed-use condominium that introduces a new, contextually sensitive landmark to Bloor West Village.
Tactile, light-toned brick panels at the podium establish a human-scaled presence along the street. The tower above steps back into subtly faceted dark metal panels, creating dynamic light reflections. Featuring 174 units and retail at grade, the building maximizes views of High Park, Lake Ontario and the city skyline and targets Tier 2 of the Toronto Green Standard through geothermal systems, thermally broken balconies and green roofs. The integrated interior design is tactile, textured and filled with natural materials in both raw and polished form. Stone and ceramic detailing meets soft furnishings and woven features of many textures and community-focused amenities complete this sustainable vision for contemporary mid-rise living.
