Waterford Graded School District approved an almost $25M referendum in 2018 to upgrade Fox River Middle School. The 68,000 sq. ft. addition to the 1964 building will allow teachers and students to have more flexibility in their spaces. The district is also realigning grade configurations and the expansion will allow the sixth-grade students to move from the elementary schools into Fox River Middle School since the capacity will increase from 500 to 600 students. Enhanced spaces include a two-story commons, a new fab lab, engineering/PLTW room and an enhance library/student success center.
