The Water Treatment Complex at King Salman Park represents a visionary approach to sustainable infrastructure. Through a thoughtful design process, the complex has been seamlessly integrated into the park’s natural landscape, transforming a utilitarian facility into a space that enhances both functionality and aesthetics.

Omrania’s innovative design incorporates organically shaped storage tanks that are nestled within intentionally depressed green pathways. These pathways expose stone-clad external tank walls, creating a dynamic visual contrast with the surrounding greenery. The green roofing of the tanks extends the park’s natural landscape, promoting ecological balance and biodiversity.

Aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the project prioritizes sustainable systems that foster environmental stewardship while supporting public well-being. This integration encourages visitors to connect with nature, offering a space where functionality meets natural beauty.

The Water Treatment Complex has been recognized with the 2024 Landscape Middle East Awards in the Parks and Recreation category, celebrating its excellence in design and sustainable integration.
