The Washington County Environmental Center is a drop off facility for residents of four counties to safely dispose of household hazardous waste, recycling materials and material exchange.The facility also demonstrates to residents several sustainable features for educational programs and purposes, including the use of industrial recycling and rain water harvesting.This project was a recipient of a 2011 North American Copper in Architecture Award.
