Installing a bicycle parking area in the basement of a major office building could have been limited to a purely technical solution. Instead, this project chooses to make a statement—a manifesto for active mobility.
Designed as a continuous and prioritized path, the intervention guides cyclists from the moment they arrive, transforming utilitarian infrastructure into a fluid and empowering experience. Green lighting traces the trajectory, revealing the space and boldly asserting the bicycle's place in an environment traditionally dominated by the automobile. Arrow-shaped light fixtures instill a directional, almost kinetic movement, while the guardrails provide structure and clarify the space's use.
Through simple, precise, and deliberate gestures, the project crafts a strong identity where it is least expected. Constraint becomes a creative lever—and the daily commute, an opportunity to inspire.
