The new school building of Visp Vocational School allows, as an independent building to expand the existing structure of the whole. The link established with the two old buildings defines a recreational space that becomes the heart of the school complex.
The processed form of this compact four-story structure reacts to other buildings of two and three floors and provides a diverse and coherent whole.
Inside, all of the classrooms are built around a central fireplace reserved both as a place of reference, a meeting point, and working room. This closed space is naturally bed by glazed partitions facing rooms. The colorful hues of these windows allow this major space to offer differentiated lighting scenes depending on the time of day, and bring the necessary filter ensuring privacy in educational spaces.
The facade is composed of a camber facet mirror polished stainless steel. The differential geometry of these elements causes a defragmentation game landscape near and far.
