With a brief to create a luxury development of around 370 apartments and 25 townhouse villas on the site, the design required an ingenious response which allowed residents to preserve their views of greenery both within the site and overlooking Zhujiang Park, as well as maintaining space and privacy.
The development is divided into two L-shaped phases located around a central garden, with five super-high-rise towers to the north and an informal linear arrangement of townhouse villas to the south. Each tower is over 40 storeys tall, enjoying prime views of the park and the Civic Axis. The two eastern towers are large, innovatively-stacked apartments ranging in size from 250 sq. m. to 500 sq. m., while the other three contain apartments of 170 sq. m. to 260 sq. m. All towers accommodate special duplex units at the lower, mid- and rooftop levels. Across the central garden lie seven townhouse developments containing two wings and accommodating two stacked townhouses of five floors each. Each lower villa also has its own private garden space, while the higher villas have additional terraces.
The landscaped central garden space incorporates a rainwater collection system, while vehicless are directed to the basement level which includes lightwells and vertical green walls.
