Villa for family in Litomyšl
On a gently sloping plot with a predominant slope towards the south-west, the modern family villa Litomyšl was designed, which is characterized by three key masses – the ground floor, an above-standard carport and an extension.
These elements have been carefully interconnected with roof overhangs, creating a unique “L” shaped floor plan. The configuration not only provides a functional layout, but also an open view of the spacious garden.
Light as the basis of the layout
The light and space in the south living wing of the house gave way to a large living room that elegantly connects to the modern kitchen.
The large window area offers a pleasant connection to the outdoor terrace, providing a great view of the garden. On the opposite side of the house we find the north wing with an outdoor carport and an adjacent garage. In the west wing of the house there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. It is important to note that the house has a partial basement, which brings additional possibilities for the use of space.
Horizontal movement and context
The staircase located in the central part of the house serves as a link between the basement and the first floor.
It is the first floor that is reserved exclusively for residential purposes. Here we find three bedrooms and an additional bathroom that offer comfortable living spaces. The whole house is designed to be as connected as possible to the surrounding garden and visually to the whole neighbourhood, which reinforces its modern character.
