The site is located in Chalkidiki, and more specifically in the village of Skioni. This particular modern house was designed to constitute an example of high demanding family housing. The scheme involves a two story structure with basement, of about 165 sq.m., consisting of living room, kitchen, bedrooms and a series of auxiliary spaces. The architectural concept was the creation of simple geometrical forms, following the inner functional organization, thus creating a unified entity. The architect’s intention involves two separated proposals for this specific family. The first is simple with clear volumes and disproportional openings, while the second form is cubic, with structural elements that wrap around it, creating in that way elevations, balconies and verandas.
