The residence is located on a picturesque site, which influenced the architecture and interior design concept. It was designed almost entirely single-floor, in order to produce maximum contact with the surrounding landscape. In exception, master`s office was designed on the second floor, overlooking the scenery.
The main design idea implies maximum quantity of natural light along with rational modesty of the shape and color. The indoor-outdoor relationship is produced by openness towards the scenery, incorporating it to the interior.
The leading role in the interior design belongs to the internal staircase, designed as an art object. The construction consists of two parts: concrete and metal, together creating elaborated composition.
Functionally the house is organized through a division in three parts:
- Social area, with the entrance hall, kitchen, dining room and living room with the exit to the terrace.
- Private area, with bedrooms with separate bathrooms and closets. Each bedroom offers a beautiful view of the scenery and an entrance to the joint terrace. This area is united by the gallery, designed as an exhibition hall, illuminated by a top and side light.
- Separate apartment for the younger members of the family with a private entrance and facilities – kitchen, dining and living room, bedroom.
