The Villa at Assagao is the first luxury home designed exclusively for Vivara Homes a newly launched design and build initiative by Raya Shankhwalker Architects. Assagao is a quintessential Goan village with winding roads flanked by coconut trees and dense greenery punctuated occasionally by a heritage home. The villa plot is cocooned by lush green paddy fields and resonates with the sounds of nature. Thus the seamless connection between the surrounding landscape and interior spaces became a key design driver. The interiors of the house boasts a minimal contemporary style mixed with eclectic pieces. The material palette is all natural and the house is designed to have a casual ease synonymous with Goan living. The walls are all white and pop colour accents have been introduced in the furnishings and artwork.
