Architectural principles
Office work always takes place at the interface between communication and concentration. The individual workstations were designed in a simple restrained colour scheme so it easily can be personalized. The common areas or "islands” offer atmospheres for different types of office situations. There are rooms for concentrated work, communication or relaxing.

,Only those who have a goal can get lost too' As visiters need regular confirmation that they are on the right track, the colour red is the lead element that accompanies them from the entrance door of the building, to the stairwell “ums Eck” and continues to the transparent glass wall of the reception.
The visitor has now arrived, the orientation system does not end with the lobby, it only receeds when not needed. Pictograms which are also used on the website of the Economic Development Agency, are used solely on the ground for structuring and organization, and can be easily replaced or changed depending on the needs or situation. They point to the individual departments within the office area without use of wall signs.
Design concept
Individual elements or sub-themes of the orientation system can be found in all 3 storeys of the Agency.
It is an integral part of the concept of the Vienna Business Agency that visitors experience, a look and feel through distinctive design. Zones of the team meetings, the communication and meeting areas are designed colourfully, haptically and mentally stimulating. The shapes and colours strongly lift the general office layout, whereas the work areas are reserved and in black and white.
